4. HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 Local Storage Only
ALL data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This includes:
- Trial information
- Settings and preferences
- Email templates
- Send history
4.2 No Server Storage
We do NOT:
- Operate any servers or databases
- Transmit your data over the internet
- Store your information in the cloud
- Create backups of your data
5. GMAIL API USAGE AND DISCLOSURE
5.1 Limited Use Requirements
FreeTrialReminder's use of information received from Gmail APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only request Gmail access if you explicitly enable Draft or Auto-Send modes
- Gmail data is used SOLELY to create drafts or send cancellation emails you authorize
- We do NOT read, analyze, or process any other emails in your account
- We do NOT store Gmail messages on any servers
- We do NOT share Gmail data with any third parties
- Human review of Gmail data: NONE - we never access or review your Gmail content
5.2 Permissions Requested
- gmail.compose: Allows creating email drafts in your Gmail
- gmail.send: Allows sending emails from your Gmail account
5.3 You Control Gmail Access
- Gmail access is entirely optional - the extension works without it
- You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings
- Revoking access only disables Draft and Auto-Send modes; trial tracking continues normally
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

8.2 Delete Your Data
You can delete data at any time:
- Delete individual trials by clicking the delete button
- Clear all extension data by uninstalling the extension
- Revoke Gmail access through Google Account settings
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
FreeTrialReminder is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
- Significant changes will be communicated through the extension
